Threshold has relationships with the University of Central Florida School of Nursing, Florida Institute of Technology Behavior Sciences Department, the National Center for Simulation, Orange County Public Schools Orlando Tech and Keiser University.

As technology advances, we are constantly examining ways in which we can use those advances to assist in working with children and adults with autistic spectral disorders and their families.  Many technologies designed for unrelated fields can be applied to train staff, parents, and the developmentally disabled.

Threshold has partnered with the Harrington Group (www.harrington-group.com), an Orlando based simulation software corporation, to develop and field a state-of-the-art computer simulation training program.  This training program will be available in parent editions and editions designed specifically for trainers and beginning behavior analysts.  The Behavior Simulation Training (BeST®) programs will ensure that all trainers, behaviorists, therapists and planners are verifiably proficient before they start working with developmentally disabled children.  The BeST® programs are scheduled for release in early 2010.
